Patent Paralegal

What you’ll be doing…

You will be expected to docket patent matters and work with attorneys to manage dockets, prepare and file US and foreign patent documents, prepare correspondence related to filings, track deadlines, interact with inventors, and correspond with foreign associates. You should have knowledge of patent processes associated with these areas of the law. Must have 4+ years of on-point Patent experience.

Your responsibilities include…

  • Working closely with inventors and patent attorneys to prepare and file US and foreign patent documents with the USPTO and PCT
  • Tracking cases using PAIR, ePCT, and patent docketing systems
  • Preparing Information Disclosure Statements
  • Researching patent prosecution issues
  • Generating patent and portfolio documents, presentations, and reports
  • Other tasks as may be assigned

Who you are…

  • Experience with docketing systems (Appcoll preferred)
  • Experience working with PAIR and ePCT
  • Associated degree with paralegal training
  • Must have 4+ years of Patent experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Energetic and passionate about innovation
