Javad is an inventor at Ofinno with a focus on air-interface for 6G wireless standards. Before joining Ofinno, he has served as a standards researcher and 3GPP RAN1 delegate at Huawei Technologies and Intel Corporation, and as a systems engineer for BS products at Mavenir Inc and Samsung Research America. He has been an active RAN1 delegate for 3GPP NR Rel-15 and a contributor to 3GPP NR enhancements in Rel-16, Rel-17, and Rel-19.
Javad is named as an inventor on more than 45 US patents, has published three journal articles in IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, and 15 conference papers in various conference proceedings in wireless communications and information theory.
Javad received his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada in 2012.
