Chiou-Wei is a 3GPP RAN1 delegate and inventor in Ofinno’s 6G Innovation Lab, working on 6G physical control channel design, scheduling, and HARQ.
A RAN1 delegate since 2017, she has contributed across Rel-15 through Rel-20 — spanning RACH, NR-U, (e)RedCap, LBCA, and 6GR energy efficiency and bandwidth operation — serving as Feature Lead for the Rel-18 eRedCap coverage evaluation and Rel-20 6GR Bandwidth Operation and authoring clauses of TR 38.865. Prior to joining Ofinno, she worked at MediaTek. She is a lead inventor of numerous US-granted standard-essential patents.
She earned her B.S. from National Taiwan University and her M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
