Anand focuses on inventing and evaluating technologies for next-generation Wi-Fi systems at Ofinno, with an emphasis on IEEE 802.11 standardization and PHY/MAC innovations. His work involves developing and analyzing advanced wireless technologies to improve the efficiency, reliability, and performance of future wireless systems.
Before joining Ofinno, Anand served as an Assistant Professor in the ECE Department at MANIT Bhopal, India and as a Standards Specialist at Samsung R&D Institute India–Bangalore.
Anand received his Ph.D. from IIT Delhi, where he was recognized with the Distinction in Doctoral Research. His research has resulted in publications in IEEE Transactions and flagship conferences, along with several honors, including the Best Poster Award at IEEE NCC 2023, IEEE ICC 2023 Student Travel Grant, GraTE-7 Best Ph.D. Thesis Award at IEEE FNWF 2025, and Exemplary Reviewer Award from IEEE Communications Letters. Anand serves as an Editor for IEEE Communications Letters and has served as a TPC member of flagship IEEE conferences.
