Heng-Li (Henry) Chin is a 5G NR Layer 2 protocol specialist and prolific inventor with over 90 pending and granted patents, specializing in bridging 3GPP standardization with practical UE implementation.
During his 4 years at MediaTek, he translated 3GPP RAN2 specifications into embedded software designs and owned the full development lifecycle—from software design to system verification. Prior to that, he spent over 4 years at FG Innovation Inc., a research lab of Foxconn, as a 3GPP RAN2 delegate, authoring standards contributions and patenting key innovations across Rel-15 to Rel-17 (including IIoT/URLLC, SDT, MBS).
He completed his Master’s degree at National Taiwan University (NTU).
