Hyunsu is a research engineer at Ofinno, where his research interests are initial access for 6G mobile networks, MIMO, positioning, ISAC, and Ambient IoT and AIML application for wireless networks. He has been a delegate to 3GPP RAN1 since 2017, contributing to NR MIMO, NR positioning, and Ambient IoT projects.
Before joining Ofinno, he worked as a senior staff engineer for 5G/6G research at Nokia Standards. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical engineering from Yonsei University of Republic of Korea, focusing on multiple antenna technologies for wireless systems.
