Jonathan has focused on compression for more than 15 years, since he started his PhD on biomedical images compression in 2008. He has contributed in MPEG and WG7 for geometry based point cloud compression (G-PCC) standardization since 2019. He has been software coordinator for G-PCC reference softwares since 2021. He is now focusing on the test model software for Solid G-PCC. At Ofinno, Jonathan works closely with Sébastien Lassere and they are both inventors of several patents they have made adopted in Solid G-PCC. Jonathan is also in charge of administrating the high performance computing cluster for the Advanced Medial Lab.
