Naima Zouidi

Naima received her graduate degree in Electronic and information technology from the High institute of Computer science and Multimedia of Gabes, Tunisia, in 2016 and her master’s degree in the same field of study, in 2018. She also received in 2023 her joint doctoral degree in Electronic, signal, image and vision from the Institute INSA Rennes, University of Rennes 1, France and ENIS, University of Sfax, Tunisia. Before joining Ofinno Naima worked as a R&D engineer at the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunications of Rennes and as an assistant professor in electronics and embedded system developpement. She is actively participating on the joint effort between ITU-T and ISO, also known as the Joint Video Experts Team (JVET). Her current research interests focus on the development of new digital video compression algorithms video such as VVC with emphasis on intra prediction and partitionning optimization.
