Sai is an HPC Software Engineer at Ofinno, where he architects and scales the high performance computing environments that enable researchers to run large-scale simulations for next-generation video compression and immersive media standards(JVET/MPEG). His work spans workload scheduling optimization, resource management, and cluster performance engineering across distributed systems.
Originally from India, Sai earned his B.S. in Computer Science from Vel Tech University and an M.S. in Data Science from the University of North Texas, where his research focused on medical image analysis using 2D and 3D convolutional neural networks. Prior to Ofinno, he published research in IEEE on machine learning applications in cybersecurity.
He actively participates in the IEEE Cluster and PEARC (Practice and Experience in Advanced Research Computing) conferences, with a focus on energy-aware job scheduling and HPC resource optimization.
