Somayeh Khosroazad

Somayeh is a Senior Wireless Engineer at Ofinno, specializing in next-generation Wi-Fi systems. With over 15 years of experience, she designs and develops advanced PHY/MAC-layer technologies for Wi-Fi 7/8/9 and beyond, bridging IEEE 802.11 standards with product-ready architectures. Her work focuses on multi-user communications, latency optimization, and AI-driven wireless innovation. Prior to joining Ofinno, Somayeh was a Principal Systems Architect at NXP Semiconductors, where she led the development of cutting-edge algorithms for MU-MIMO and OFDMA systems, as well as machine learning-based solutions for RF impairments and dynamic spectrum management. She has contributed to multiple patent applications and played an active role in standardization efforts. Somayeh holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and is an IEEE 802.11 voting member. Her expertise spans signal processing, wireless system design, and practical AI/ML integration, with a strong track record of delivering high-performance, power-efficient communication systems.
