Thang Nguyen

At Ofinno, Thang works on next-generation video coding standards and neural network-based video compression. His work currently focuses on inter-prediction algorithms and other tools to improve coding efficiency. He earned his M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Seoul National University in Seoul, Republic of Korea. Before joining Ofinno, Thang worked as Senior Research Scientist at top-tier AI centers and companies in Vietnam including FPT Software, VinBrain (acquired by Nvidia), Samsung SDS.
