Jaehoon is a 3GPP Standards Engineer (RAN1) specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) and Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) technologies for advanced wireless communication systems. He has been contributing to 3GPP RAN1, driving standardization efforts in AI/ML-based channel state information (CSI) compression and beam management for 5G and 6G. He held a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Korea University, Seoul, South Korea in 2017, where his research focused on performance analysis of fading channels and energy-efficient MIMO beamforming.
