Yasser is a dual-qualified U.S. and European patent attorney; he manages the development and prosecution of Ofinno’s patent portfolio for the IEEE 802.11 family of standards (Wi-Fi).
Before joining Ofinno, Yasser practiced at leading IP law firms in Paris and Washington, DC, representing clients before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office and the European Patent Office. He also served as in-house counsel at a wireless technology research company, overseeing multi-jurisdictional patent portfolios and supporting licensing of standard-essential patents.
Yasser holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Iowa, a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from Cornell University, and a J.D. from Georgetown University.
