Ali’s primary research at Ofinno focuses on advancing beam management and radio access network technologies for 5G and next-generation wireless systems. Before joining Ofinno, he held research positions at the University of Oulu, the University of Edinburgh, and the University of British Columbia, and worked as an industrial postdoctoral researcher at Sierra Wireless. His experience also includes roles at Mitsubishi Electric Research Labs and Broadcom, where he contributed to cutting-edge wireless innovations.

Ali is an inventor on over 500 granted patents and has authored more than 50 technical publications, including 20+ papers in IEEE Transactions journals. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Riverside, and holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Telecommunications Engineering from Sabanci University in Istanbul, Turkey.
