Javier Perez-Ramirez

Staff Engineer

Javier Perez-Ramirez is a Senior Technical Staff member at Ofinno, where he contributes to the development of the IEEE 802.11bn and IEEE 802.11bq standards.

He leads R&D initiatives that have produced numerous patents in next-generation wireless technologies.

Previously at Intel Labs, Javier made key contributions to wireless communications, including wireless time-sensitive networking, XR-enabled wireless digital twin software, evaluation of new MAC protocols for future Wi-Fi standards, and the adoption of Intel IP in the IEEE 802.15.7 visible light communications standard.

His work has been recognized with multiple awards, including the IEEE INDIN 2021 Best Paper Award and the IEEE INFOCOM 2018 Best Demo Award. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University and an Executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology.
