Matt Fernandez serves as Intellectual Property Counsel at Ofinno, where he specializes in patent strategy and prosecution for cutting-edge 5G and 6G wireless technologies. As in-house counsel, Matt provides strategic IP guidance to support the company’s innovation initiatives and technology development in next-generation wireless communications.

Matt brings a combination of technical and legal expertise to his role, with experience as both an electrical and computer engineer and a Patent Examiner at the USPTO, where he focused primarily on 5G, 4G, and LTE technologies. Since joining Ofinno in 2023, he has leveraged this diverse background to provide valuable perspective from both the technical and examination sides of the patent process.
