As a senior technical staff in Ofinno, Huifa’s research interests span 5G/6G physical layer technologies including NR-U, high frequency operation, AI/ML for air interface, and V2X. After receiving the B.E. degree in information engineering from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (China), he worked as a RAN optimization engineer at Motorola China for five years.
Then he received the M.E. and Ph.D. degrees in information and communication engineering from The University of Electro-Communications (Japan). After that, he worked on 5G NR standardization and patents in Sharp Corporation for four years before joining Ofinno.
