Taehun focuses on research and development of radio access network procedures for 5G and 6G. Prior to joining Ofinno, he held a chief research engineer position for standardization at LG Electronics and participated in 3GPP standardization activities. His standardization experience includes a CT1 delegate for 5 years and, a RAN2 delegate for about 2 years. He was a rapporteur of a V2X work item for CT WGs and a rapporteur of TS 24.386 specification. He received his Ph.D in wireless communication from KAIST in Korea. After receiving his Ph.D, he was a postdoctoral research fellow in electrical engineering at UCLA.
