2025 was a milestone year for Ofinno. While our mission has always been to pioneer the technologies shaping the future of 5G/6G, Wi-Fi, and media compression, it is particularly rewarding when the industry pauses to recognize the culture and expertise that make our mission possible.
This year, Ofinno was honored with several prestigious accolades. These awards and recognition represent more than just a positive office environment – they are a testament to how Ofinno’s culture and team members are driving global technological impact.
Leadership in Intellectual Property Strategy
A major highlight of 2025 was the individual recognition of our executive leadership. Ofinno’s Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Esmael Dinan, and CEO, Kavon Nasabzadeh, were both named to the prestigious IAM Strategy 300 Global Leaders list. This global ranking identifies the individuals who lead the way in the development and implementation of strategies that maximize the impact of IP portfolios.
Esmael and Kavon’s inclusion in this list underscores Ofinno’s unique position as a world leader in high-value patent development, bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and strategic business assets.
Additionally, Ofinno was one of only 100 global companies honored by LexisNexis in its Innovation Momentum Report, which lists companies that they found to have the most innovation momentum in the world. The report noted that Ofinno makes a tremendous impact due to the high quality of its patent portfolio, far surpassing many larger organizations.

Setting the Global Standard for Wi-Fi
Ofinno’s technical contributions also reached new heights within the international standards community. Jeongki Kim, Technical Director and Senior Principal Engineer for our Next Gen Wi-Fi team, received formal recognition from the IEEE SA Standards Board.
This honor was awarded for the significant contributions to the development of the new Wi-Fi standard, IEEE Std. 802.11be-2024 (Wi-Fi 7). This recognition highlights the critical role our innovators play in defining the connectivity standards that the world will rely on for faster, more reliable wireless communication.

The Ofinno Difference: Culture as a Catalyst
“Empowering Innovation” is one of Ofinno’s core values, so once again being certified again as a “Great Place to Work” in 2025 is a reflection of our core philosophy: the best ideas come from team members who are empowered to think freely. At Ofinno, our researchers aren’t just employees; they are pioneers. We believe the most effective path to innovation is empowering everyone – from junior hires to senior leaders – to make decisions based on what’s best for the company.
We’re proud to have created a space where breakthroughs in connectivity happen daily.
Looking Ahead: Setting the Standard
While we celebrate these 2025 wins, Ofinno remains focused on the road ahead. From the strategic vision of our executive team to the technical expertise of our innovators, we’re grateful for the recognition, but still focused on remaining accountable to the high standards of innovation we’ve set for ourselves.
