Derwent has been evaluating standard essential patent holders in the 5G domain. They analyzed over 10,000 patents from the top 50 companies in the 5G field to identify the strongest standard essential patents directed towards 5G technology. Their analysis employed their Derwent Strength Index that uses a multitude of factors to identify the strength and value of patents.
Ofinno’s 5G patents were listed along with Apple, MediaTek, Deutsche Telekom, Xiaomi, and Convida Wireless patents as the “ones to watch.” Ofinno filed over one-thousandth patent applications solving complex technological issues for 5G wireless technologies.
