Leonardo is a Principal Engineer at Ofinno, focusing on technologies related to IEEE wireless LAN standards. His research spans network analysis and optimization across both the Physical and Medium Access Layers. He has authored multiple journals and conference papers on topics including multi-user beamforming, MIMO schemes, and random access improvements for IEEE 802.11ac, 802.11ax, and 802.11be WLANs.
Before joining Ofinno, Leonardo spent seven years as an Assistant Professor at Kyushu Institute of Technology in Japan, where he also earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Systems Engineering.
