John serves as a Senior Patent Attorney at Ofinno, focusing on preparation and prosecution of cutting-edge technologies related to 3GPP standards (e.g., RAN1, RAN2, and core networks). Prior to joining Ofinno, John practiced at various law firms, preparing and prosecuting patent applications for technologies such as wireless telecommunications, AI/machine learning, image processing, video compression, and cloud computing. Before his legal career, John had over a decade of experience as a software developer and system analyst. Leveraging his past legal and technology experience, John works effectively with researchers at Ofinno in protecting their inventions with precision and passion.
John earned a JD from University of Maryland School of Law, and a MS and a BS in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology.
